About us
Founded in 2002, Peace Handicrafts is more than a business — it is a movement of hope, dignity, and transformation.
We exist to empower people with disabilities, especially those affected by polio and hearing impairments, by providing them with training, meaningful employment, and the opportunity to shine through their talents. At Peace Handicrafts, we see beyond disability — we see potential, creativity, and strength.

Each product has a story
We train and support disabled artisans to handcraft high-quality fashion accessories, with a focus on beautifully designed bags made from recycled materials such as cement bags, rice bags, fish food bags and repurposed nets. What others see as waste, we transform into art — blending sustainability with style, and purpose with design.
Our creations are not just eco-conscious; they are soul-conscious. Each bag tells a story of resilience, reinvention, and the power of human potential. Behind every stitch is an artisan who overcame obstacles, found their voice through craftsmanship, and now shapes their future with dignity and pride.
We also work with the traditional Khmer silk to revive this ancient Khmer craft that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 1,000 years.
When you choose Peace Handicrafts, you're not just choosing fashion — you're choosing impact. You’re helping protect the planet, uplift marginalised voices, and invest in a world where ability is celebrated, not sidelined.
Our Mission
At Peace Handicrafts, our mission is to transform lives and protect the planet through the power of purposeful design.

Brighter future for the handicapped and the environment
We create beautiful, handcrafted fashion using recycled rice sacks, cement bags and repurposed nets — turning waste into wearable art. Every material we use carries a second chance; every product we craft is a statement for a more sustainable and compassionate world.
But our work goes deeper than fashion.
We empower artisans with disabilities and poor villagers — including those affected by polio and those who are deaf — by providing them with skill training, meaningful employment, and the chance to thrive with dignity and pride. Each piece they create is a reflection of resilience, creativity, and courage.
We believe fashion should do good, feel good, and give back to the earth and to the people who make it.
Peace Handicrafts – Redefining fashion. Restoring dignity. Reviving the tradition. Respecting the planet.
